CORRECTIONAL OFFICER TESTING
INSTRUCTIONS
The Tazewell County Sheriff’s Office – Corrections Division takes applications on an on-going basis. The Corrections division also does lateral transfers from other jails and prisons. In both cases an application needs to be submitted for consideration.
Testing for Correctional Officer consists of the following:
- Physical Agility Test
- Testing at Bradley University
- Interview
- Polygraph Test
- Psychological Examination/Test
APPLICATIONS:
Applications must have all pages completed and include a clear copy of the applicant’s valid driver’s license.

TESTING SCHEDULE
- Testing is done on an as needed basis.
- Applications will be kept on file for two years.
