Active Shooter Training
Tazewell County Sheriff’s Office is always looking to help protect our citizens of Tazewell County. We are proud to offer A.L.I.C.E (Alert Lockdown Inform Counter Evacuate) training to our citizens. We have certified instructors that will help educate your organization on how ot respond to active shooter situations. The instructors will provide classroom and scenario based trainings. The Illinois Department of Transportation’s Bureau of Safety Programs and Engineering (BSPE) supports child passenger safety (CPS) and the state’s over 1700 certified CPS Technicians by offering training, continuing education, and support materials to educate parents/guardians on the proper use of car seats and booster seats.

Tazewell County TRIAD
A nonprofit organization that brings seniors, law enforcement, and professionals that provide services to seniors together.
Our purpose is to “enhance the quality of life and safety for senior citizens, through information and resources provided by law enforcement and service providers.”
It includes the Tazewell County Sheriff, local law enforcement agencies, senior citizens, and business/community leaders, especially professionals that provide services to seniors.
Teen Driving // Ford Driving Skills for Life
A signature program of Ford Philanthropy, Ford Driving Skills for Life teaches newly licensed and teen drivers the necessary skills for safe driving beyond what they learn in standard driver education programs.
Established in 2003 by Ford Philanthropy, Governors Highway Safety Association and a panel of safety experts, Ford Driving Skills for Life has operated in all 50 states as well as Puerto Rico. In 2008, the program expanded outside of the United States and today offers hands-on, classroom or online training in 46 countries around the world.
